At Emerald Park Border Collies, I raise puppies with the goal of giving them strong foundations for life, not simply preparing them for the day they leave home. I want every puppy to have the opportunity to develop into a confident, adaptable and well-adjusted companion.
My breeding philosophy is grounded in purpose and responsibility. I go far beyond pedigree research and health testing. I carefully consider genetics, temperament, physical development and the individual needs of each puppy, while providing thoughtful experiences throughout their early development.
Because how a puppy is raised matters.
Border Collies are extraordinary dogs. Raising them well is both a science and an art, requiring knowledge, behavioural insight and a deep respect for the breed. I follow Puppy Culture protocols and complement them with my own evidence-informed approach to behavioural development, enrichment and early learning, supporting the development of confidence, resilience and adaptability.
Every Emerald Park puppy is given the foundations to develop confidence, adaptability, resilience and the skills needed for life as a companion.
Above all, I believe that doing what is right for my dogs is at the heart of responsible breeding. Every Emerald Park puppy is raised with care, thought and purpose, and every family who welcomes one becomes part of that journey.

Puppies
A THOUGHTFUL START TO LIFE
Emerald Park puppies are raised with careful attention to their physical, neurological, behavioural and emotional development and are ready to join their families from 8 weeks of age.
Each puppy is:

Vaccinated with the C3 vaccine (between 6–8 weeks)

Started on toilet, travel and crate training.
My puppies are $4,000, because health, welfare, and high-quality care are never optional.

All of my breeding dogs undergo comprehensive genetic testing for the hereditary conditions relevant to Border Collies. I use these results to make informed breeding decisions and avoid producing puppies affected by known, testable genetic diseases. Responsible choices today help protect the breed’s future and give families greater peace of mind.

1. Submit Your Application
Complete the form on the My Puppies page so I can learn more about your home, lifestyle, and expectations.
2. Administration Fee ($50)
A small non-refundable fee is required to begin the review process. This covers the time spent on personalised follow-up, suitability review, and keeping you updated on upcoming litters.
You’ll receive a receipt by email — please use your name as the payment reference.
3. Confirmation & Placement
When your application is approved and payment received, you’ll secure your position on the Waiting List.
4. Puppy Selection
When puppies are available and it is your turn, I’ll guide you in choosing a puppy best suited to your family, based on temperament, lifestyle, and goals.
