For a select few puppies, I offer the opportunity to join our extended breeding program. These special puppies grow up as cherished family companions, enjoying a wonderful upbringing in their forever homes, free of contractual pressure.

 

The Program in Brief

 

• Family Companion First: The dog lives as an adored, full-time family member in your care.

• Temporary Return: Once they reach full maturity, they return to Emerald Park for a short time to complete a planned mating and later to whelp and raise one carefully managed litter.

• Ongoing Care: During their stay, they receive the same loving care, fresh food nutrition, and supportive environment that all my dogs enjoy.

• Happy Retirement: Once their contribution to my breeding program is complete, they return to your family for a happy and well-earned retirement.

You purchase the puppy outright, giving you complete peace of mind and the freedom to change your mind at any stage without pressure or obligation.

As appreciation for your vital part in preserving our lines, Breeder’s Terms families are compensated with:

• A puppy from the resulting litter, OR

• The monetary equivalent of a puppy ($3,500)

Become a Guardian for a Retired Emerald Park Border Collie

​

From time to time, I retire one of my beautiful breeding dogs and look for a special Guardian Home where they can enjoy the next chapter of their life. Becoming a guardian means welcoming a well-mannered, health-tested Border Collie who has been an important part of my program. My retired dogs are affectionate, intelligent, and ready to thrive as cherished family companions. If you can offer a loving, stable home and would like to give one of my dogs the wonderful life they deserve, I’d love to hear from you.

The application process is the same to become a guardian of a puppy, adolescent or retired dog.
